When it comes to the specialty of Fengjie, people often think of the famous navel orange. In fact, the fresh and fragrant Kui pomelo, which was once a tribute to the imperial court, is also a specialty of Fengjie. Kui pomelo has two types: Kui Fu red heart pomelo and white heart winter melon pomelo. It has a unique flavor, rich in vitamins, and is resistant to storage. It is commonly known as "natural canned". Kui pomelo has a large body and usually weighs 1-3 kilograms per fruit. The fruit has a light yellow color, thin skin, strong aroma, tender juice cells, and a strong sweet taste. It has a high moisture content and good quality. The Kui pomelo from Fengjie has been very famous in ancient times. It was promoted as one of the famous pomelos of that time over 2000 years ago. According to the "Shu Zhi" of the Han Dynasty, "the pomelo from Kuizhou cannot be reached in Yangzhou." During the Tang Dynasty, Kui pomelo was listed as a tribute and later used by emperors. In the 15th year of the Republic of China, it was introduced to Liangping and in 1998, it was rated as one of the "Top Ten Famous pomelos" by Chongqing City.
